Decision on egg price today: It is reported that the price of eggs will be decided today.

It is reported that the Executive Council and representatives of small and large scale egg producers will meet this afternoon to take a decision.

All Ceylon Egg Producers Association President Sarath Ratnayake said that a decision will be made whether to maintain the current price or reduce the price.

If this price revision is done, it will be effective from Monday morning, he said.

The president of the association mentioned that the demand for eggs will also decrease in the coming days, so eggs should be sold at a reasonable price.
