Decision on fuel quota for vehicles today : A decision will be taken today (17) on maintaining the increased fuel quota for vehicles for the festive season, the Energy Ministry said.

The government had taken steps to increase the fuel quota for vehicles with effect from midnight on the 4th.

The Energy Ministry further said that no final agreement has been reached on whether the increased quota values will be maintained in the same manner or the earlier values will be reinstated.
