Nationwide strike Decision Today

A major discussion regarding the nationwide strike tomorrow will be held today under the leadership of representatives of various trade unions from government, semi-government and other sectors.

Sri Lanka Teachers Union General Secretary Joseph Stallin said in a press conference held in Colombo today that he will announce the next steps to be taken after the discussion.

With this boycott, the All Sri Lanka Health Trade Union Federation has decided to carry out a one-day symbolic strike on the day after tomorrow.

General Secretary of the Federation Mahinda Guruke explained this at a press conference held today in Colombo.
