A message for those who came to Sri Lanka from abroad :
The government has decided to provide low-interest loans to people who come to Sri Lanka from abroad and start a new business.
Minister Manusha Nanayakkara said the above while delivering a special speech in Parliament today (25).
Yesterday, the cabinet approved a proposal to get low interest loans of up to 2 million for foreign workers.
Meanwhile, Minister Manusha Nanayakkara has said that 30,915 women have gone abroad in the year till June 30, 2022.
The minister also mentioned that the Foreign Employment Bureau is working for the safety and welfare of people going abroad.
