The Motor Transport Commission has announced that the plan to convert three-wheelers into electric three-wheelers will be implemented from today (11).

Motor Transport Commissioner General Nishantha Weerasinghe said that in the first phase, 300 petrol tricycles will be converted into electric tricycles.
