Special Notice on Italy Job Allotment

Employers and businesses in Italy must apply for employment opportunities under a quota system issued annually by the Italian government to non-European countries including Sri Lanka. According to this, Sri Lankans cannot directly apply for that opportunity, Jagath Vellawatta points out.

Therefore, the Foreign Employment Bureau of Sri Lanka is hereby notified that it is not possible to directly apply for these jobs from Sri Lanka and to refrain from paying for these jobs to any person who is required to submit applications by employers in Italy.
