Severe water crisis in Pakistan

Foreign media reported that Pakistan is facing a severe water crisis.

Reports indicate that nearly 30 million people living in Pakistan do not have access to clean drinking water.

Foreign media also say that about 80 percent of people living in 24 major cities of Pakistan do not have access to clean water.

It is reported that 16 million people living in Karachi do not have access to running water.

The main reason for this acute water crisis facing Pakistan is the country's population growth and increasing demand for water.

Foreign media have also reported that existing water resources are being wasted due to chronically old and weak infrastructure and poorly maintained water pipe systems due to a failed regime.

Also, foreign media reported that the water crisis in Pakistan is increasing day by day due to a lack of water storage and storage facilities.
