Ram Chandra Boutel of the Nepali Congress Party was sworn in as the new President of Nepal.

Following the end of the tenure of the current President of Nepal, Vidya Devi Bhandari,

an election was held to elect the next President in her place.

In this, Ram Chandra Boutel was announced as the winner with 64.13 percent votes.

In this case, Chandra Boutel was sworn in today as the 3rd President of Nepal at the Presidential Palace.
