40 trade unions, including University Lecturers, Government Medical Officers Association, are members of the Amalgamated Confederation of Professionals.

The trade unions had also warned that if the appropriate solution is not provided by the 8th, the strike will be carried out to paralyze all services. As the one-week deadline given by the trade unions ended yesterday, due to no response from the government, they have decided to engage in continuous protests from today.
