Letter from the President to Foreign Creditors  : President Ranil Wickremesinghe has announced to Sri Lanka's foreign lenders that he will maintain full transparency to resolve Sri Lanka's debt crisis and revive the economy.

The President's Media Unit reported that the President has stated this in an open letter.

Furthermore, in his letter, the President encouraged creditors to engage positively with Sri Lanka to resolve the public debt crisis by strengthening mutual coordination between bilateral and private creditors.

Meanwhile, State Minister for Finance Ranjith Siambalapitiya has said that he is ready to deal with all parties regarding debt restructuring with bilateral lenders.

He says that after the Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund meets on the 20th, they can get their agreement to achieve the desired goal.

Minister of State for Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said the above while commenting on the letter sent by President Ranil Wickremesinghe to the bilateral lenders in Tehiovita area.
