24 hour water cut in Colombo

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced that a 24-hour water cut will be implemented in Colombo.

Accordingly, it has been announced that the water supply will be suspended from 2 pm today (4) to 2 pm tomorrow (5).

According to this, water supply will be blocked to Colombo 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 areas and Kaduwale town and its neighboring areas.

In addition, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board has informed that the water supply will be suspended to the areas under Kolannavai City Council, Vellapitti and Kottikawathai areas during the said period.

It has been announced that the water supply will be suspended due to the repair work to be carried out in connection with the water distribution pipe to Malikakantha water station.
