18 hairpin bends : The Kandy – Mahianganai main road, which was closed due to mudslides and rock falls, has been temporarily reopened.

Yesterday (19) afternoon, the road was temporarily closed due to landslides and boulders in the second bend of the 18 bend road.

Hasalaka police said that the mounds of mud and stones on the road have been removed and traffic has been allowed on the road again.
