People Just wait for another 12 years - Ranil Wickremesinghe

United National Party Member of Parliament Vajira Abeywardhana went to meet the Kandi Malwattu-Askiri Theras last Tuesday.

A journalist had asked this;

“Chairman, you killed the counter statement, according to your counter statement you said in the past, we have only one seat. You had said that you would bring Ranil Wickremesinghe to that seat and then appoint him to the post of Prime Minister and appoint him to the post of President. It just happened..”

Member of Parliament Vajira Abhayavardhana replied;

” I am not a forecaster, I am a politician. People should wait for another 12 years. If Ranil Wickremesinghe is given to rule the country, he has the personality to make Sri Lanka the strongest economy not only in Asia but also in the world.
