New visas to be introduced to the port city of Colombo

A new type of visa has been introduced for investors and other parties coming for services such as international trade, shipping and operations, finance, information technology, and tourism to be established in the port city of Colombo.

Based on the recommendations of the Colombo Port City Commission, the Cabinet has approved the introduction of visa categories.

Investor Visa for '' category for Investors under Residency Visa Category
Service Provider Visa for '' Category for Service Providers"
CBC Resident Property Tenant for '' Visa Category for foreigners residing on a lease basis in Port City of Colombo
