High Court Order on Election Petition

Retired Army Colonel W. requested to issue an order postponing the local council election M. R. His lawyers informed the High Court today (20) that there is no need to consider the regularization petition filed by Wijesundarav requesting that the petition be called for consideration before the upcoming 23rd.

 

Accordingly, the High Court has ordered to call the said petition on the 23rd as previously scheduled for consideration.

The motion was called today before a bench comprising S. Durairaja and Shiran Gunaratne.
