Harvey Weinstein sentenced to 16 more years in prison for sexual assault

Oscar-winning Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein (age 68) has been accused of sexually assaulting actresses who asked him for film opportunities in 'MeToo'.

More than 70 women, including Hollywood actresses Angelina Jolie, Rose McGowan, Annabella, and Jane Doe, filed sexual complaints. The police registered a case and investigated the complaints.

Harvey Weinstein was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2020 after a US court sentenced Harvey Weinstein to 20 years in prison for sexual assault by film producer Mimi Haley in 2006, and by an actress who sexually assaulted her in 2013.

In this context, in 2013, the Los Angeles City Court was investigating a case filed by an Italian actress who alleged that Harvey Weinstein had sexually assaulted her. The charges against Harvey Weinstein were proven beyond reasonable doubt and he was declared guilty.

In this case, the Los Angeles City Court gave a verdict yesterday. Accordingly, the judge sentenced Harvey Weinstein to 16 years in prison for the crime of sexually assaulting the actress.
