Actor Mayilsamy passed away due to sudden illness

Popular actor Mayilsamy passed away due to sudden illness. He is 57 years old.

Mayilsamy  is a famous comedian of Tamil cinema. Born in Sathyamangalam, Erode district, he first became known in public for his art of mimicry.

He entered Tamil cinema in 1984. Since then he has been acting in small and big roles. Kamal has acted in countless films including "Apoorva Sahothararkal" and Rajinikanth's "panakkaran".

After the year 2000, he became a well-known actor who played comedy and character roles in many films. Comedy scenes in many films with actor Vivek have attracted fans. He has acted in more than hundred films.

Apart from movies, he also anchors TV shows. Beyond cinema, he focused on public welfare issues and earned the respect of people.

Meanwhile, he was living in Saligramam, Chennai and died due to ill health. The family member was taken to a private hospital in Porur, Chennai due to sudden illness early this morning. But he died before reaching the hospital. Doctors have confirmed his death.
