Price to be equalized between LAUGFS and LITRO soon

The Commerce Minister, Nalin Fernando, has announced plans to introduce a price formula that will ensure parity between the prices of LAUGFS and LITRO gas. According to the minister, the current market prices of Loughs gas are significantly higher than those of Litro gas, prompting the need for this intervention.

To address this disparity, the minister has engaged with Laughs Gas Company, who have pledged to provide a revised pricing agreement within the next week. The introduction of the price formula is expected to bring the prices of LAUGFS and LITRO gas in line, providing consumers with more affordable options.
