Law College Admission and Exam Fees Increased

The Sri Lankan government has recently increased the admission and examination fees for Sri Lanka law college. As per the new provisions, the admission fee has been raised to Rs 15,000, while the exam fee is now Rs 1,200.

The Leader of the Opposition, Sajith Premadasa, raised concerns regarding the timing of the law college applications and the release of high-quality results. Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe has stated that the fees have been increased after a long discussion with the Council of Legal Studies.

Sri Lanka Law College is expected to provide educational activities and facilities to around 5,000 students and will not receive any money from the government. These changes may impact aspiring law students in Sri Lanka, and they should be aware of the new fees when planning their future studies.
