Prices of 7 essential food items reduced

Lanka Sathosa has taken steps to reduce the prices of 7 essential food items from today (03).

Accordingly, the prices of dry chillies, wheat flour, pulses, white sugar, red green (local), white country (local) and big onions have been reduced.

Dry chilli Rs.75 per kg, wheat flour Rs.15 per kg, dal Rs.19 per kg, white sugar Rs.11 per kg, red green (local) Rs.9 per kg, white country (imported) Rs.7 per kg. The price of onion has also been reduced by Rs 6 per kg.
