Import of eggs from next week

The government has started the initial phase of importing eggs.

Accordingly, the international tender for egg import is going to start next week.

These activities are carried out by various statutory bodies of government business. Due to the rapid increase in the price of eggs in the local market, it was agreed in the last cabinet meeting to import eggs in order to control it.

Considering the current situation, it is said that the government will decide the quantity of eggs required for the market and inform the various statutory bodies of the state business.
