Adjournment of case against Dhanushka

An Australian court has announced that the trial of the case against Sri Lankan cricketer Danushka Gunathilak has been postponed until February 23.

The order was issued so that the police could finalize their evidence.

He has been charged with four counts of sexually assaulting a woman he met on the dating app Tinder while he was in Australia for the T20 World Cup in November last year.

At Sydney Downing Center Local Court, Judge David Price today adjourned the case to February 23.

Dhanushka has been exempted from appearing in court in February.
